Update: Another doctor's visit today for a check-up (4/08/04). Things seem to be fine. God to hear the heartbeat again. Still sounds strong and is going at 160. We've scheduled our ultrasound for 4/22/04 - that's two weeks away and we can't wait! I'm at 17.5 weeks now. I've felt the baby move three times now and am anxiously waiting for it to happen again. Update: We had our first doctor's appointment today (2/12/02) and got to hear the baby's heartbeat! It was flying! We really didn't expect to hear it this visit. Everything I've read says that you can usually hear it at 12 weeks. By their calculations, I'm at 10 weeks now (less by my calculations) but we heard it!. It flew right up to say "hi" to us. It was going at about 180 beats per minute and sounded strong.

| Well.....as of today, I tested positive on
not one....but two pregnancy tests. So, it looks like we're
expecting! From what we can tell, I might be about 5-6 weeks
pregnant. We won't know for sure until the first appointment - but
I've been feeling strange for about that long, so I don't think that's far
off. Wish us luck!
Update: After talking to the doctor's office, they feel that I'm probably more like 7 weeks along. We'll know more after Feb. 12th - our first appointment. |
