| Mimi's Visit Home My mom (Mimi) came to visit her first grandchild this week. They had a great week together. She barely left the condo and Kyla barely left her arms. We had several firsts during her visit. Kyla started making eye contact this week. She spent time on her activity mat and started watching the hanging items. She had her first real bath (pictures on new page) which she seemed to tolerate well. And - she smiled! Not a fart smile either....a real smile which she gave to me, Mimi and to her reflection in the mirror! Unfortunately, I wasn't quick enough with the camera to catch it. |

| The activity mat has been
great fun this week (as much for us as for Kyla). It's been fun to
see Kyla start to follow items and watch herself in the mirror.
She seems to stay on the mat a little bit longer each day. |

| We will all be sorry to see Mimi leave. She was a big help to me this week. She cooked for us non-stop and cleaned everything she could find. I won't have to do laundry for weeks! She gave me lots of good tips for taking care of Kyla, too. Kyla definitely enjoyed all the extra attention and Mommy definitely enjoyed the break:) | |
