Kyla's cord *finally* fell off this week (10/3/04).  She hung on to it for a long time!  We were looking forward to giving a real bath because she seemed to enjoy the water with her sponge baths.

We handled it very well.  She didn't cry at all - just looked around a little freaked out.  I gave her a little massage afterwards and she tolerated it well.  After all was said and done, she had a meltdown from all the activity - but was easily quieted and  felt asleep right away.
