| Kyla at 13/14 Weeks Home Not a lot of good, smiley pictures this week. They're mostly action shots of her new activities. She is starting to take objects in her hands and is finding her mouth with them. She's *still* not laughing...I swear she's holding back to torment me!

My big girl started daycare
12/1. She goes every morning from about 7:30 until 12:30. It
was really hard to pass her on to someone else - but she's been doing
very well. They say she's very smiley and is active - really wants
to be involved in everything. She started refusing the bottle just
weeks before I went back to work. We battled that for a couple
weeks and never made any progress. The center now has her drinking
2-6 oz a morning - sometimes without a fuss! She still won't take
one for daddy, but we're working on it. The ladies at La Leche
said that she's just a smart little girl. She knows what she can
get at home and knows that she's got to take what she can get at
daycare. Oh yeah...and they had her napping with a pacifier a
couple times too! Go figure! |
| Now here we have a real Montana baby! She's got a fluffy, fleece liner in her car seat, which I thought would be all we needed to get from the car to indoors...but some of the chilly mornings have proven me wrong. I bought her some snowsuits for those freezing mornings. She had one for 6-9 months...but I realized that she'll need two more sizes until then. So, we picked up this little pink bunny suit and it is the absolute cutest thing you'd ever want to see:) I've read where some mothers will lay their little ones down for a nap in a snowsuit. It is obviously warm, but it makes them feel swaddled and womblike. Since Kyla is such a horrible napper, I thought I'd give it a try and it worked! I'll be sure to do that again sometime. |
