Trip to Walt Disney World
Home

We made our first trip to Walt Disney World last month thanks to the Pee-pap.  We flew down the Thursday before Memorial Day and stayed until Sunday.  My dad flew in from Pittsburgh and met us there.

We stayed at the Ft. Wilderness cabins which are on the resort, so everything was hassle free.  We had two days to visit the parks and chose the Magic Kingdom for our first day.  It was just a short boat ride away.

Outside the Presidents

Kyla had a great time.  She was up for whatever was suggested. We had pretty good luck with the lines, not really waiting longer than 20 minutes to get on something.  It was VERY hot in the morning but became overcast in the afternoon which was much more bearable.  I thought I might melt waiting in line for that Dumbo ride!

Small World was a favorite, of course.  She was pointing at everything along the way.  The Pee-pap was her riding buddy all through the park.   She also liked to visit the gift shop with him, of course.  You'll notice the mouse ears and little stuffed Marie:)

We put a good day in at the park although we didn't make it to the fireworks.  We headed back to the campground for dinner and called it a night.  It was a good day for Animal Kingdom.  Hot, but we got on everything we wanted to....hit the safari early and then worked our way through from there.   Kyla was totally freaked out by the Bug's Life 3D movie.  Brent and I went on the Everest Expedition rollercoaster which totally scared me.  It's a cool park although I feel like we missed a lot of it.  The day went quickly!
