As you know from reading this site, I really try to use this thing as my scrapbook and put some time into organizing my pictures and writing the text.  I'm in a hole now though....and have accumulated an overwhelming amount of pictures.  I'm afraid if I don't get them up....I never will!  So I decided to throw these few pages up on Picasa to get the job done as quickly as possible.  There is not much to read...but enjoy the pictures anyway!

Visit from the Chelfs
You may remember the Chelf family from previous visits the first year we were here:)  Matt and Holly have three girls, Emma, Gracie and Gretchen.  They were down for a week in April visiting family and stayed with us.  We made a trip to the zoo and had a great time hanging out together.  We even shared a visit from the Easter Bunny!  It was great having them here, lots of fun, and they were good sports about the real mess we had from our construction projects.  Everything was ripped up the week they arrived but they just rolled with it!  Check out our pictures HERE.

Visit from Grammy and the PEI crew
Grammy drove down for a visit with Aunt Heather, Uncle Floyd and their friends Sonny and Dorothy.  It was a great visit...even though they also had to put up with same construction inconveniences.  They did some sight-seeing and took Kyla to Bluebonnet Swamp one day.  They toured campus with Brent another day and went downtown.  He also took them one day to New Orleans.  They went to the Botanical Gardens there and then finished up with lunch in the French Quarter.  (Shout out to Heather.....these are all her pictures!!!) House Renovations
Just a couple shots of the projects I've been referencing.  We had the living room walls (paper taken off and refinished/painted) and ceiling done with some lighting. In Kyla's bathroom and our Master, we had the same done to the paper/walls and also had the tubs replaced.  They did all three projects at once and it took about three weeks from beginning to end.  I thought I had a better record of it all but I'm not sure where all my pictures ended up?!?  This were a bit crazy during this time as you can imagine.  Check out the pictures HERE if you're interested.
