Summer Pictures

I have an assortment of summer shots to throw on this page.  I'll start with Kyla's latest belt test for her 'Little Ninjas" class.  The belts on this level are accelerated so she can go for one every 8 weeks. This was for her purple belt. We didn't take pictures, but Brent brought his new camera and made a little video.  It's posted HERE on our Picasa album.
 
We planned a weekend trip to Fontainebleau State Park with the Doerrler family to ride the Tammany Trace, which you can pick up right in the park.  We had to cut our trip short, though, and instead camped one night and spent the morning at the park.  There is a really nice beach area there and the kids loved splashing around and digging up clams.

We got a quick beach trip in this summer.  We linked up in Destin with Jerry, Melissa and family!  They rented a great house just off the beach.  The kids (and the parents) had a blast together. (Shout out to Melissa for most of these pictures - thanks!!)

We had really nice weather and Kyla got her first bad case of sunburn.  Poor little thing!  We missed putting sunscreen under and around her eyes, so you'll see she's puffed out in most of these shots.  It didn't hold her back much.  She played with the kids all day long.  The house had its own little pool....and as you can see in the pictures, it was a very little pool.  It was great for us though because the kids could swim in it with little effort from us! 
We all headed out to dinner the last night and snapped some family shots at the beach while we waited for our table:)

We ended our summer with some fun, too....we bought a Wii!  It's been so much fun!  Here are a few shots of her playing, mostly in her PJs because we seem to play a lot before bed.
