Kyla was excited for Christmas this year and became increasingly so as packages turned up under the tree.  We spread it out a bit by opening a few gifts each night the week before.  I tried to snap some pictures of each as we did.

Here she is with a new doll from her cousin Colin.  It's a Baby Alive doll that drinks, pees and cries.

We did each group of packages on a different night.  She would start asking early in the day, but we waited until after her bath.

More goodies!
We opened our gifts to one another on Christmas Eve.  This is the only shot I had from her opening our gifts to her.  We got her some Barbie things and an assortment of little items.  One package was full of little kid sized baking tools to help mommy in the kitchen....although she decided that they'd be of more use in her little play kitchen and took them back there.  She's been whipping up cakes and throwing "birthday parties" with them.
