Halloween
Home

Kyla was very excited for Halloween to get here.  Both costumes had been tried on repeatedly, and she worked on both her witch cackle and lion roar.

Her school had a morning long party, and she wore her witch outfit for that.  The parents all had to bring something.  I was in charge of "gift bags" and had fun filling them with dollar store purchases.

After a morning of excitement, she was primed for going out that night.  I couldn't believe she actually took a nap but was very glad she did.  She wanted her costume on as soon as she woke up, which gave me a lots of time for pictures.  Most of these shots are of practicing her "roar".

Hi, Daddy!!!

We only hit about 6 houses before coming back to pass out our own treats. Kyla was giving them out by the handful.  There were a lot of people out in our neighborhood and it was a fun atmosphere.  Most parents had beers or plastic cups, and everyone was very chatty.  I think I may need to get into more of a festive spirit next year!
