The LSU Vet School does an open house every year.  It's a big deal and totally organized by the students. This was our first visit, and it was really nice.   They have a bunch of booths, the breed rescues, zoo, etc.  They also take you through the facilities and do demos of the work that's done there.  The Galvez and Doerrler families were there with us, too! 

Kyla was unusually shy around the animals.  There were a lot of people there so that might have had something to do with it.  She did break down and pet a few of them but mostly she just looked at them from a distance.
