Helping in the Garden
Home

Kyla and I did some work in the beds this weekend, so I took a few pictures when my hands were clean.  These are just shots of her helping me water, but she loves to get involved in all of it.  She's got her own gloves, can and tools...although her favorite tool is always the one that you're either using or need!

Watering the "LSU" flowers

I don't have much hope for some of these flowers.  She was "helping" me by removing them from the containers.  Some were handed to me with few (if any) roots still attached.  Not a good start!

After we cleaned up, we did a little craft project.  She always bring back shells from our beach trips, so I thought we'd use the shells from our Pensacola trip to decorate a stepping stone.  I also bought some colored beach glass to add in the mix as well.

Messy fingers!

I had planned to write the location and date in the cement, but we had too much fun placing the pieces and forgot to leave a space for it!

This was my first attempt to make one of these, but it was pretty easy and I think it turned out  nice.  We won't know for sure until Tuesday because it takes a couple days to set up.

The last piece!
