Kyla must have been tired because she was the last one up the next morning.  She slept in until almost 9am! 

After breakfast, Laura came over with the kids.  The kids played outside, mostly with bubbles.  Grammie brought a ton of bubble toys up with her.  They had a variety of wands to choose from Gavin tried to join in but most of his ended up in a puddle.  The girls went to town!

After some play, we all headed to the beach.  There, we linked up with Laura's friend Bethany and her twins, Jack and Emma (3).

We went to one of the north beaches this day.  Laura and Bethany had tons of buckets and shovels for the kids to use, so the sand was a big hit.

After the beach, Grace came home with us.  She and Kyla had a slumber party!  This was Grace's first night away from her parents.  We stayed with Aunt Heather and Uncle Floyd (Grace's grandparents) and they were excited to have her for the night, too. We had an early picnic dinner out in the yard.  The girls had a blast and laughed the whole time.  Each had a feather from the beach and it was part of the play the whole night.  It even took a bath with them!

We all headed across the street to Great-Grammie's for dinner and after a bit, the girls decided they were ready to chill out with a movie and marshmallows.  We set them up with "Happy Feet" outside and got the fire going.  After toasting a few, the girls were very tired and ready for bed.  On to the next day.....
