Trip to Baltimore

We took a trip to Baltimore over the 4th of July weekend to visit the Provan family.  It's been almost two years since we've seen them and Allie was just a little peanut back then.  You can jump back to the pictures from their visit with us to New Orleans HERE!

Kyla and Allie were good playmates.  Allie watched every move Kyla made and Kyla had fun showing her the ropes.  Allie shared her toys with Kyla, and Kyla shared her dvds.  The only thing that wasn't shared was the gift that Amy and Dan got Kyla....it was a kaleidoscope.   She kept a close eye on it and even asked me to put it in our suitcase one time when she saw Allie eyeing it up!

On the 4th, we headed to the American Visionary Museum for their pet parade.  The girls had fun playing on the outdoor exhibits.

We walked to their local park one day.  Kyla climbed to the top of the "dinosaur" right away.  Allie decided she would do the same.  Amy stayed with her and she made it all the way to the top!

The girls loved their backyard water activities.  Allie has a little splash pool and a new Slip n' Slide was tried out.  They also ran through the sprinkler.

Of course, the mommies and daddies enjoyed themselves, too.  We worked in the garden one day and helped Amy with her new plants...but most of our visit was spent eating, drinking and yakking!
