with the Water Table Home We bought Kyla a water table last week. She enjoys it, as do the neighborhood cats who stop by for a sip. It came with two boats, a water tower and a cup. She went right to work pouring and splashing. It wasn't long before everything was cleared out so that she could dip her feet and arms. She put a bunch of her toys in that first day...her plastic bugs, the little balls, all her shovels and gardening tools....even "Dance and Shout Elmo" made his way in, although he no longer dances or shouts.

| Of course, a lot
of the water ends up outside of the table. We've had to refill it
many times. She likes to fill containers and dump them around the
patio.
The one day (pink shirt) she got it in her head that she needed to provide water for our cats. She kept filling the little cup and telling me "water for the kitty cats". She'd set it down and then try to call them out with "here kitty cats!" She was very happy to be doing this for them. Neither came out for their treat, but she tried all afternoon. |
