Kyla turned two on 9/2.  We ate cupcakes and sang on the actual day but spread the gifts out to make it last.  One of her gifts from us was a play food set with pots and pans.  It's fun to watch her pretend. She "feeds" us and makes us wear bibs.  She likes to identify the foods and will still sign some of them, too.

New things this month?  She's cutting a set of lower molars which has her irritable.  She seems to be picking up new words and phrases every day.  We're sometimes surprised at what she pulls out and how she'll use them appropriately.  As you can see from our sad little potty chart below, not much action on that front.  We're doing lots and lots of sitting and trying, though.  Wish us luck!
