A Visit from the Chelfs
Home

The Chelfs came to town for a family gathering and stayed the weekend with us.  Kyla was so excited to have them here from the time she woke up to the time she went to bed.  You might think things were a little crazy with four girls under the age of four in our house, but everything went smoothly.  The Chelf family runs like a well-oiled machine!

Gretchen, Kyla, Gracie and Emma
They kept themselves busy with a variety of activities.  Kyla was pretty good about sharing her things.  There were a few "mine" episodes and she got a bit grabby, but for the most part, she was good about it.  The water table and sprinkler kept them cool outside one afternoon.  Inside, they played with crayons, Play Dough, Aqua Doodle and blew through all the toys.

"My girls!"

Gretchen loved it!

Emma likes to draw and color

Breakfast and crayons!

Holly put sticker earrings on the girls one day and Kyla got a set of her own.  She thought they were great and kept looking at them in the mirrors.  I left them on for two days.

What are these things?!?

Kyla had a blast playing "Ring Around the Rosie" with the girls.  Daddy and I can only play this game with her a limited amount of times, so usually she plays it with an umbrella as her partner....which sounds a little pathetic but is actually cute.  She opens an umbrella on the floor upside down and goes around it while holding the handle and singing.  She thought it was great to play this time with actual kids....they made falling down much more fun!

Gracie and Kyla...all fall down!

A second set of twins?

It was great having Matt, Holly and the girls here....we look forward to their next visit!
