Home Home After two weeks, we headed back home...but first made a detour through Dayton to visit the Lehmann's. We spent a fun night there, catching up and visiting with friends in the area. Kyla and Jake got along very well. He was really good about sharing his toys...which is great since he's now got a sister. We just received word that Annie Francis was born on 8/6. Welcome, Annie! Kyla loved his wagon. They took turns trying to pull one another. Jake also had a playhouse tent that she loved. They set it up in the yard and the kids ate their pizza inside, which was a bit messy but fun for them. |

Jerry and
Melissa have a hot tub so we did a "bath" in there for the kids.
They bobbed around and loved it....Ms. Kyla didn't want to get out, of
course!
All the day's excitement wore them both out and they were in bed and asleep around 8...which made for a nice evening of just the mommies and daddies and friends. We got off to a slow start the next morning. The kids were having fun playing, so we let her burn some energy before hitting the road. We made it to Alabama for the night and then got back to Baton Rouge before noon the next day. The cats were happy to see us!!! |
