We went downtown to see Santa and his parade.  It was a bit chilly (for Louisiana, that is), so we had Kyla bundled up.  She had fun watching the shows from her daddy's shoulders, and she even caught Mardi Gras beads at the parade. As you can see from her face, she also had a cookie! 

We hit Santa's lap as soon as we got there.  She didn't cry - but she wasn't sure at all what to think.  We're pretty sure she couldn't get past the fake beard. She kept staring at it.  The picture was a Polaroid I had to scan in, so the quality isn't that good.
