4th of July
Home

We've been busy getting ready for our move, so we didn't make big plans for the holiday.  We took a little visit to the park and then got some ice cream - but no fireworks that night as we're able to enjoy them all week long right in our parking lot, anytime of day or night.

From the moment we got there, she was bossing us around.  She likes to get into an activity and then she barks out directions as to where you should be sitting and what you're to be doing.  We steered clear of the swings this visit as they never seem to work out the way she wants.  She wants to ride and also wants us to ride on the 2 swings next to her...but somehow we're also supposed to keep pushing her.  It usually ends in a fit.

Marching over with orders

C'mon!

Where'd he go?

Singing while she rides

Kyla and daddy

As you can see, her mouth ran the entire time we were there.  (I'm not sure where she gets that?)  She was singing and squawking and saying "Hi" to everyone.

Jumping around like a monkey!

This was going to be a nice picture of Kyla and her daddy, but she was too focused on getting me on that bench with them!

We put out a blanket, which Kyla didn't want to sit on...but she also didn't want us sitting on it.  Brent was torturing her by stretching out on it while she was playing.  She'd fly back and pull it out from under him!

Ride like the wind!

OFF!
