I'm pulling a variety of activities out to keep Kyla entertained these days.  I picked up an Aquadoodle mat.  She's been having fun with it.  These pictures are from her first session with it.
 

Kyla likes to make herself a little seat with her pillows and beanbag, so I thought I'd try a chair of her own.  This one is a little big and too tall for her right now, but we tried it out (with supervision).  She made herself very comfortable in it - and was in and out a million times.

At daycare, they teach them to "sit on their pockets".  They're told this when they're going down the slide or sitting on the bench - anyplace where they should safely be sitting on their bums and not jumping around.  I've been trying to continue this at home.  The image above is an example of when I've used "sit on your pockets".  She recognizes it right away.
