Day 2
Furneaux Lodge to Punga Cove Resort
12km (~7 miles), 4 hours

Today's walk started out with much better weather.  Not a drop of rain in sight, although Wednesday's rain left the track a bit muddy - which caused me to wipeout...but just once:)

The track took us through Endeavour Inlet which has an old mining site at the head.  They mined stibnite, which is a hardener for steel and is also used in the production of pewter. Most of the track was originally used by the miners and as a bridle track for the local farmers.

The track took me around the Inlet - into Big Bay and then on to Punga Cove Resort.  This resort was again only accessible by water or the track.

A beautiful view on a beautiful day...

My chalet was again perfect...and the restaurant even better.
