| This trip was much less strenuous than my last glowworm
viewing. We took a boat ride across Lake Te Anau to the caves which
were about 30 minutes away. The Te Anau Glowworm Caves are the lower
section of the Aurora cave system which lies within Fiordland National
Park. From there, guides took us through in boats and along walkways
to view the worms. They were everywhere. Again, this tour
didn't allow photography because it "turns off" the worms...but
we got a couple of nice shots of the lake anyway.
