Auckland
December 6th and 7th
| It's been
a rainy two days in Auckland. We've been told that last week was
beautiful, so we think it has something to do with us:) It's worked
out fine though because we've used these days to recuperate from our
travel (and illnesses).
Auckland is very much like a big city in the States. We're staying downtown, right in the heart of the city center. Our hotel room is very small but not uncomfortable. |

In between downpours,
we took a walk down to the harbor. I didn't realize it until my cab
driver told me, but the America's Cup trials are going on now.
(Duh!) We grabbed a little lunch and hob-nobbed with the sailing elite. As you can see below, it was a windy day. |
